Unbound Spirits' HoldFast Bourbon Wins Silver

Holdfast Bourbon, a product of Unbound Spirits Distillery in Algoma, received the silver medal at The Fifty Best competition, held in New York. The competition evaluates a variety of wines and distilled spirits through a rigorous, proprietary blind tasting process.

The bourbon, as described on the distillery's website, is an "alliance of two bourbons: one is wheated and one is high rye." This alliance creates a "boldly layered and smooth bourbon for sipping or mixing." Holdfast is temporarily sold out, but the distillery anticipates taking preorders sometime in February.
